At CORE Federal
Credit Union, our goal is to help as many members as possible
obtain the credit they deserve. The fixed rates shown here are
our very best, available to those with excellent credit. The fixed
rates are based on each applicant's credit history and may vary
from those shown above.
APR = Annual Percentage Rate
Introductory APR good for the 1st six months
the line is open and valid for new lines of credit only. After
that, rates for the variable rate line of credit are based on
the High Prime Rate published Wall Street Journal - a margin of
.51%. As of 12/15/08, the Prime Rate was 4.00%. Rates may vary
and are subject to change, but will never exceed 18%. The Credit
Union, at its sole discretion, may choose to offer promotional
rates from time to time below an established minimum variable
rate of 4.0%, a minimum fixed rate floor of 7.25%, or the variable
rate margin of Prime - .51%. Such offers will not affect the Credit
Union's ability to enforce minimum rates in the future. Fixed
rate option advances taken under the line of credit are available
for terms up to 180 months. Future fixed rate advances beyond
current promotional rates being offered will be set at margins
off our base rates, depending upon the term selected and credit
worthiness, and subject to minimum and maximum rates. A $10,000
five-year fixed rate loan at the promotional rate of 4.74% APR
would yield a monthly payment of $187.48. Term, rate and payment
may vary based on the amount borrowed. Property insurance and
hazard insurance are required on the property securing the line.
You may also have certain third party fees that could range between
$250 and $1,500. The Credit Union may pay your third party fees
if you transfer $25,000 or more in new debt to the Credit Union
from another financial institution. If you close your home equity
line within three years of the opening date, you will have to
reimburse the Credit Union for any fees paid on your behalf. Home
Equity Choice lines of credit are subject to credit approval.
